What is Pods?
Welcome to Pods, WCT's unique mentoring circles program that draws on the organization's 35+ years of experience supporting women's advancement.
Each Pod consists of a mentor and approximately four mentees.
In every weekly session, the entire cohort receives insights on a specific topic, then breaks out to privately share and discuss them within their Pod.
For mentees, each topic is designed to build a better understanding of yourself, your goals, and your plans. For mentors, these sessions are an opportunity to guide that reflection and share your own experience and perspective.
Attendance and participation from both mentors and mentees are essential to the success of the program.
Why the word Pods?
Orcas live in close-knit groups, known as pods, with a female whale at the helm. Just like the female orca does for her pod, your mentor will help you and your Pod navigate uncharted waters!
Grow Your Network
Being in a Pod means that for six weeks, you will get a chance to connect with your mentor and fellow mentees in a safe, intimate environment and form deep connections.
Give and Get Mentorship
Mentees benefit from their mentor's guidance as well as peer support from others navigating a similar career stage. Mentors get the chance to share their expertise and experience while connecting with a new generation of women in their field.
